Dr. Teri Worl

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Brief info

Dr. Worl grew up just outside of Atlanta, GA., and, like many in her field, knew at an early age that she wanted to pursue veterinary medicine as her career path. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Clemson University she attended Ross University before finishing her veterinary education at Auburn University. Having strong ties to South Carolina, Dr. Worl chose to return to the Upstate to start her career in 2006 and has lived in the area since. Dr. Worl has practiced in many areas of veterinary medicine including private practice, running a house-call practice, shelter medicine, and emergency medicine. Within the veterinary field, Dr. Worl’s special interests include geriatric care and quality of life management, pain management, and critical care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Worl’s life still revolves around animals. She and her family live on a farm just outside of Clemson along with her two house dogs, house cat, horses, livestock guardian dogs, dairy goats, and too many chickens and heritage turkeys to name individually! When Dr. Worl is not taking care of animals you will usually find her cycling, running, or swimming.
