Veterinarian in Clemson, SC
Pinnacle Veterinary Group is a privately owned, locally operated small-animal hospital treating dogs and cats in Clemson and the surrounding communities. We are committed to proactive, preventative veterinary care—focusing on identifying health concerns before they become problems and helping pets live longer, healthier lives.
We are proud to be an AAHA-accredited veterinary practice. This accreditation reflects our dedication to the highest standards of medical excellence, safety, and client service.
As a local, non-corporate practice, our team provides personalized care, continuity, and genuine relationships with the families we serve. At Pinnacle Veterinary Group, your pet isn’t just our patient—they’re part of our family.
Our Philosophy of Care
Our philosophy of care stresses wellness and preventative medicine. It’s much easier, not to mention less expensive, to treat a potential illness or health situation early than to wait until it’s an emergency situation. Some pet health challenges can be prevented all together. Preventing a medical emergency and helping your pet life a healthy life is our goal when it comes to veterinary care.
Wellness care means developing a relationship with you and your pet from your pet’s infancy (starting at around three months) through his or her senior years. By knowing your pet well, we are in a better position to spot potential health problems before they can develop into life-threatening situations. We also help you keep on top of vaccinations, flea and tick preventatives and dental care, all things that help your pet live the best, and healthiest, life possible.

About Pinnacle Veterinary Group
Our veterinary clinic is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We accept most credit cards as well as Trupanion and CareCredit.
Arriving several minutes early for your appointment helps us offer the best care for all of our patients. We invite you to familiarize yourself with our late/no show policy before making an appointment.
Our services
At Pinnacle Veterinary Group, we offer a comprehensive array of veterinary services. These include.
Injuries and illness
We are also here to treat your pet’s injuries and/or illnesses. When you pet is ill or injured, we’ll examine your pet and run blood and other tests to determine the cause or extent of your pet’s injuries or illness and devise a treatment plan. We’ll also help you with the tools and skills to treat chronic pet diseases, especially ones that affect older pets like kidney disease and diabetes.
Surgery
We perform a number of surgeries in our in-house surgical theater. These include spay/neuter procedures and foreign body removal. For more involved surgeries, such as complicated mass removals, we bring in a board-certified surgeon to assist us. When an overnight stay is required, we’ll refer you to a sister veterinary hospital in the area, while we continue to monitor your pet’s progress.
Euthanasia
When it comes time to say goodbye to your pet, we’ll help you with this difficult task. We understand that when your pet has a poor prognosis and is in a lot of pain that the best thing you can do for them is to say goodbye, as hard as that may be. We’ll make this process as smooth and painless as possible.
Our Team
Pinnacle Veterinary Group is led by our two exceptional veterinarians:
Dr. Teri Worl, our practice owner, and Dr. Shelly Knight, our associate veterinarian. Together, they bring extensive clinical experience, compassionate care, and a shared commitment to advancing the health and well-being of every pet we serve.
Our veterinarians are supported by a dedicated and highly skilled team that includes licensed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, customer service representatives, our practice manager, and a client advocate. Each member of our staff plays a vital role in ensuring that every visit is smooth, supportive, and centered on the needs of both clients and their pets. Our client advocate further strengthens this experience by helping meet patient and family needs beyond the appointment itself, ensuring communication, comfort, and continuity of care.
At Pinnacle Veterinary Group, our team works together to provide a warm, collaborative, and exceptional healthcare experience for the Clemson community and their pets.
