Pinnacle Veterinary Group is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Amy Beaverson to our team!

Dr. Beaverson grew up in rural Northwest Ohio. After completing her undergrad there, she moved to Texas where she realized her love for veterinary medicine while working at an animal shelter. She went on to graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She practiced in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma, before settling in SC with her family as her husband works with Clemson University. Dr. Beaverson has two teenage sons that keep her busy (soccer mom for life!). Her entire family is a fan of Star Wars, even her giant schnauzer named Vader and Obi Wan the cat.

When not practicing veterinary medicine or attending soccer matches, Dr. Beaverson enjoys running and is currently training for a half marathon. She can also be found with dirt under her nails and tending to her “beloved” landscape. An artist at heart, she likes to do something creative once a week and is getting back into wheel ceramics.

Dr. Beaverson enjoys emergency medicine, a field she’s been a part of for several years. However, she is looking forward to her transition to general day practice as it allows more opportunity for developing relationships and continuity of care with her patients and clients. She is happy to be joining Pinnacle Veterinary Group!
